Second Step Lessons
Field trip to the Children’s Museum at Navy Pier 2-20-2020
Here are a few pictures from our trip. The children had a great time building in the construction site room. There was also a water room, a dinosaur room just to name a few places to se inside the museum.
A visit from a carpenter
Gwen’s dad Mr. Hendrickson is a carpenter. He came and shared with us his tools he uses on his job site. He showed the children how to use these tools. and even let them practice holding a drill as well as pounding a nail in to a piece of wood. The children loved it and asked good questions.
Pajama Day
The children had fun dressing up in their favorite pajamas on the last day before winter break.
International Day of Peace 9-20-2019
We have celebrated the International Day of Peace and here is a few pictures of the mural that we made.

Field trip To Museum of Sc ience and Industry 10-24-2018
We visited the museum of science and industry here are some pictures. We saw the Idea Factory and saw an exhibit about our bodies and muscles. We had fun a great time for our first field trip.
International Day of Peace
We talked about Peace. What our wishes for Peace were and placed a ribbon on this pole for all to see. We wish for peace everywhere. We read the peace book by Todd Parr.
First week of school 2018-19
Children are busy enjoying the many activities as well as gym class, art class and dance class.
